How many of you are sticking with your New Year’s resolutions?

Studies show people tend to fizzle away from their goals fairly quickly (usually by January 12)!

After you listen to my interview with today’s guest, you will feel more motivated than ever to follow through on your goals.

Ben Burmaster, Founder & CEO of Snuggle Bugz, a baby store based in Burlington, Ontario, joins me to discuss his experience completing an Ironman 70.2.

Ben completed the race with just 12 weeks of training and no previous experience with swimming or competitive biking.

Ben shares what completing the Ironman taught him about personal goal setting and life as an entrepreneur.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • The critical mistake people make when setting goals.
  • How Ben worked through self-doubt and doubt from others during his training — and how he applied this to life as an entrepreneur.
  • The importance of “going big” with your goals so that they “challenge the living daylights out of you.”
  • Ways to work through the emotional ups and downs of entrepreneurial life and why to “never, never, never” give up.
