What qualities do you look for when you’re hiring an EA?

While many executives already know the tangible qualities they want in a support person, they often don’t think about the soft, intangible skills.

I’ve listed four qualities that make the difference between a good EA and an excellent EA.

These qualities determine how your EA shows up for you everyday. And they make a HUGE difference in how you as an executive are taken care of and how your team and clients are served.

EAs who serve us in this way will provide security and stability to our life as founders, but only so far as we create trust and relationship with them in return.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • How having a competent PA can set your business up for success
  • Why soft skills are very important to consider when hiring
  • The four intangible qualities I look for when hiring an EA
  • How confidence is different from cockiness
  • What it means to serve as a gateway instead of a gatekeeper
  • Why establishing trust is very critical in the founder-EA dynamics
