We’re so used to getting things happening fast. We want fast internet, fast food, fast weight loss results, and whatnot.

And we want the same for our business – we want to fast-track our success.

We think that success equals rapid scale and growth – wrong!

When we first start out as business owners, we don’t always exactly know what we want. We’re not always sure we’re going in the right direction.

The problem is when we scale our business at rocket speed, we might realize that we’ve actually built the wrong business after it’s already too late.

What I quickly learned is that you can’t confuse momentum with speed.

Today, I talk about why we should pursue momentum and how that can make a positive impact on our life and business.

I’m a firm believer that scaling with momentum rather than speed equals success. You have to slow down enough to make sure you’re going in the right direction and you’re building the business that you really want!

In this episode, you will hear:

  • 3 problems associated with chasing speed
  • The benefits of seeking momentum
  • What you can learn from the fable of the tortoise and the hare
  • What does it mean by momentum requires momentum?
