What many entrepreneurs don’t understand is that mindset impacts their revenue and their profit.

Unfortunately, when you bust through each new level of success, things are going to get triggered. Hence, mindset work is critical to keep your momentum going.

First, you need to understand the different reasons entrepreneurs become a bottleneck in their business because awareness is key.

Reasons for a Bottleneck in Your Business

  1. Visibility issues

The fear of being judged is so intense because we’ve gotten this message that it’s our responsibility, especially as women, to please people and make sure everybody else feels okay before they feel okay.

  1. Control issues

Some people don’t want to manage people or delegate work. They have control issues and they’re afraid of slowing down. But sometimes you have to slow down enough as a leader so you can create the right systems and processes in place.

  1. Impostor’s Syndrome

Even people who have been doing their craft for 30 years can still struggle with impostor’s syndrome and this can greatly impact how you price and scale your business.

  1. Trauma

Running a business may trigger trauma, which is a huge societal problem, especially unresolved, untreated trauma.

Working on the Subconscious Level

Mindset work is critical regardless of where you are in your business journey. Sure, you could read all the self-help books you want or create a massive vision board. There’s nothing wrong with those. But they may not be enough.

When you’re only working on a conscious mind level, you are only touching the tip of the iceberg. If you do not do work on your subconscious mind that is based on science, and you’re not learning how to work with the really difficult feelings that come up, it will trigger a lot of stuff – guilt, fear, anger, etc.

Therefore, you’ve got to be able to integrate, implement, process, practice, and create new habits that can only happen over time. And they have to be done in a way that actually builds new neural networks in your brain.
