Entrepreneurship is an incredibly lonely gig and having your spouse in the business at least helps with that loneliness.

But what if when the going gets tough and the tough get going?

Would you still be able to run your company together – for better or worse?

Through thick and thin?

First, you need to understand the magic that can actually come out of a successful working relationship with your spouse.

The Benefits of Working With Your Spouse

1. Creation

Working together gives you the ability to consciously create your life and all the aspects of your life by your own rules.

2. Choice

Each day feels like a conscious choice. You can pick and choose how you want to take on projects and allocate your time and money.

3. Time

You’re not bound by having to be at a desk by 8:30 am or getting 10 days of paid vacation. You won’t be stuck in a role where you can’t leave if one of the kids is sick or you have to attend your kid’s soccer game.

4. Language

When you work with your partner, you get to speak the same language. You understand each other’s battles and share your wins together.

5. The Power of Two

Once you recognize your weaknesses and strengths, you can divide things up so you’re both only working on what you’re really good at.
