As a business owner, the biggest obstacle in your way is yourself.

You don’t have to be the boss or the button pusher in your business. (It does get tiring at some point, does it?)

The goal of every business owner is to have someone on their team who gives a shit. But while it may be true what they say that no one is going to care about your business as much as you do, well, you can get close.

You see, if you want to get back to your zone of genius and just be the visionary that you are, think about hiring an integrator.

The Role of an Integrator

Visionaries are going to have really big ideas.

As an integrator, you’re giving visionaries the space to voice those ideas. But you also need to understand that it doesn’t mean you need to take action on everything. So you can just let them share their ideas and compile those. Then find out which ones should you be moving forward based on your priorities.

Additionally, being an integrator allows you to serve as the buffer that protects the rest of the team so they don’t get bombarded with the storm of ideas.

How the Visionary and the Integrator Can Get on the Same Page

Both the visionary and the integrator will have to be aware that they’re going to have their own viewpoints. They have to let both sides be heard and they may not always see eye-to-eye on things.

But when they come back with the commonality of why they’re both here, then they’re able to be on the same page, which is necessary for making the right decisions.
