Thank you so much for tuning in and joining me on this journey to becoming the badass you were created to be.

We talk a lot about strategies for reaching goals around here – whether it’s exponential growth, work-life balance, building your unbeatable team… it’s all about helping you make your life-changing impact.

This week’s episode will be no different – and it includes a surprising twist.

Today I’m talking about one of the HARDEST things for go-getters and DOERS of all stripes to do… and that is –  saying No. We want to chase the next challenge, and that is a GOOD thing. But as Warren Buffet has famously said, “The difference between successful people and VERY successful people is that very successful people say ‘no’ to almost everything.”

And we want to be in that VERY successful column, right? Right!

Before chasing every shiny object that crosses your path, taking the time to pause and reflect on a course of action can lead to powerful insights and decision-making. OR, if that train has already left the station – you still have permission to push pause. Take stock. Evaluate. And make tough decisions.

It’s important to be selective and intentional about our commitments and tasks. Pause and consider – does it align with your goals and priorities? Does this support you in achieving those?

You’ll find that you have to start saying “no” to opportunities – even GOOD, noble ones! – in order to make room for the best ones. It’s a concept I’ve heard referred to as “your best yes.” It’s about being intentional and strategic with your time and energy, and resources and knowing that by saying no to the good, you are making room for the best.
